Follow Your School's Billed Activity by Aircraft and Instructor

New Billing reports let schools compare sales periods and review billed aircraft hours, aircraft revenue, and instructor activity in more detail.

How did this month compare with the last one? Which aircraft accounted for the billed flying? Where did instructor activity fall during the period? A single headline total can start that conversation, but it cannot answer every question.

The new Reports area within Billing gives eligible schools three focused views: Sales, Aircraft, and Instructors. Each follows a different part of the school's billed activity, helping owners and authorized staff move from a dashboard total to a more useful discussion.

Compare a period before drawing conclusions

Sales Reports combines a selectable date range with previous-period comparisons. Use month, quarter, or year views to give a total some context instead of judging it in isolation.

For example, an owner reviewing a quieter month can compare the periods and then look more closely at which aircraft or instructor activity contributed. The report provides a consistent starting point for that review; local conditions, staffing, weather, and the school's own operating decisions still explain the story behind the numbers.

These figures describe billed charges. They should not be read as a cash-received statement or a complete measure of profit. Keeping that basis clear makes a conversation about performance more useful for everyone looking at the screen.

Look at the fleet through its billed work

The Aircraft report groups billed revenue and hours by aircraft for the selected period. It gives schools a practical way to compare activity across the fleet and identify an aircraft worth investigating further.

That can help frame questions such as whether an aircraft's billed activity is changing, or whether the distribution of work looks different from the previous period. The view draws from invoice items, so it reflects the work that reached Billing.

Scheduled reservations and billed activity answer different operational questions. Use this report when you want the invoice-based view of aircraft hours and revenue, and keep the schedule available when you need the booking context.

Review instruction as its own part of the operation

The Instructors report presents billed instructor activity over a selected range. Owners and authorized staff can review that activity and follow the available links into the related instructor billing or payroll views when their access permits.

A consistent period helps here too. Looking at the same dates across Sales, Aircraft, and Instructors makes it easier to discuss the figures together without accidentally comparing different stretches of the calendar.

The reports are read-only, so reviewing a period does not change an invoice or adjust an instructor's work record. They provide a place to inspect information and decide what needs a closer look.

Give the review a regular place in your routine

School owners with Pro access and appropriately authorized staff can use the Billing reports. A short, regular review can be more useful than waiting until a question becomes urgent: choose a period, compare Sales, and then inspect Aircraft or Instructors where the detail matters.
